I am passionate about helping people achieve their health and wellness goals through gentle, yet powerful, therapies. Too often I have people tell me they didn’t think there was anything else that could be done for them. I am adamant that we always have options when it comes to improving our health, and that is where my training in Naturopathic medicine differs from what you may be used to. I will work closely with you to find the most effective treatment for your individual needs, and I will be there to guide you through any treatments that you may not be familiar with.

I was personally drawn to Naturopathic medicine after the conventional healthcare system provided me no answers and little improvement in my own health issues. I earned my Naturopathic medicine degree at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. There, I also received specialized training in Craniosacral Therapy and Biotherapeutic Drainage.

As a Naturopathic doctor I have a vast toolbox from which to draw when treating my patients. My treatment methods include homeopathy, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and hydrotherapy. I love working with patients of any age, gender, and health history. I have additional expertise in chronic disease management, particularly autoimmune conditions, but I do not specialize in any specific disease state. Instead, I treat the person in front of me. If you are frustrated with your care and ready to get results, you have come to the right place.

I grew up on a cattle ranch in rural South Dakota. The nearest hospital was 50 miles away. Consequently, we relied on the wisdom of the generations before us for knowledge on how to best support the body naturally and heal from common ailments. My greatest influence was my grandmother, who instilled in me an appreciation for food and plants as medicine.

I chose to pursue Naturopathic medicine after watching my father battle cancer. He utilized alternative therapies, in conjunction with surgery and radiation, to support his body’s natural ability to heal during and after treatment. His recovery showed me the potential of integrative medicine in caring for the whole person while managing illness in the body. This experience led to my desire to help others going through the healing process, regardless of the diagnosis.

I earned my Naturopathic medicine degree at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Additionally, I received training in Biotherapuetic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Somatic Re-education.

I believe when we work with our bodies and nature, rather than against them, we can achieve real, lasting results. The human body has an incredible ability to heal when given the right support. If you are ready to experience first hand the power of natural medicine, I would welcome the opportunity to be a part of your journey towards health.
